Service Trip team would love to take your dirt off your hands, or at least off your car.  Bring your car, or your neighbor's car, to be washed ABSOLUTELY FREE next Saturday, November 1, in the main lot of the TKA campus.  The free washings will be held between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Water will be reclaimed for irrigation use.  Valuable door prizes will be given away for every 20th car through the line, and every 5th car through the line will be eligible for the grand prize drawing for an iPod Touch!  Not too bad for a free clean up.

On October 14th NBC "Bay Area Proud - Inspiring Stories of People Making A Difference" news segment, reporter Garvin Thomas did a feature story recognizing The King's Academy for preserving Sunnyvale High School memories and honoring their alumni at last Friday's Sunnyvale High School Alumni Tribute Game.

The program begins in the Theatre at 11:00 a.m. with student performances and testimonials by parents, students and teachers. This is followed by a campus tour (grades 7-12), special 6th grade program. Lunch will be served. The program ends at 1:30 p.m.

Performances will be Fri. and Sat., Nov. 21-22. The story follows the small town of Grover's Corners in 3 acts: "Daily Life," "Love and Marriage," "Death and Eternity. "Described by Edward Albee as "...the greatest American play ever written."
