  • Spiritually Maturing
    A Spiritually Maturing student is one who:
    • Has accepted or been encouraged to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior;
    • Understands the Biblical perspective on the world and its practical applications;
    • Understands the character of God and has a core knowledge of His Word;
    • Lives out the Christian faith by integrating biblical principles into conversations, decisions, and actions of daily life;
    • Is able to share and defend the Christian faith with others;
    • Encourages and supports the Christian community; and
    • Understands and practices the basic spiritual disciplines of worship, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.
  • Academically Proficient
    An Academically Proficient student is one who:
    • Effectively communicates ideas in oral, artistic, and written media;
    • Reads with the ability to demonstrate comprehension;
    • Demonstrates practical applications of taught methods and concepts;
    • Demonstrates logical, analytical, and critical thinking skills;
    • Demonstrates understanding of the Judeo-Christian and Greco Roman  heritage of western civilization and its relevance to the global culture;
    • Effectively researches, processes and presents information from a variety of sources;
    • Demonstrates knowledge of proper care of their bodies and physical health;
    • Demonstrates foundational proficiency in a foreign language.
  • Morally Principled
    A Morally Principaled student is one who:
    • Responds to social pressures in a God-honoring way;
    • Demonstrates honesty and integrity in all social, academic, and extra-curricular activities;
    • Honors God through their words and actions;
    • Practices and communicates Biblical principles when faced with adversity.
  • Socially Confident and Concerned
    A Socially Confident and Concerned student is one who:
    • Demonstrates the ability to discuss differences of opinion respectfully while maintaining their own integrity;
    • Interacts with others with Christ like love;
    • Demonstrates healthy, honorable, and respectful interactions with members of the opposite gender;
    • Uses his or her personal talents and gifts to serve others;
    • Participates confidently and appropriately in social, academic, and work situations;
    • Demonstrates an appreciation of the significance of family;
    • Demonstrates respect for authority; and
    • Demonstrates the ability to interact with adults in reasonable, thoughtful, and appropriate ways.
