A Word from the Principal

Dear Parents of Prospective TKA Students:

Your family’s consideration of enrollment at The King’s Academy is well-founded. This school is one of the very best places for kids journeying through adolescence. The staff is not only skilled in their specific academic area, they also each have a deep personal faith in God and concern for kids.

Our school is a safe, wholesome place. We do maintain high standards of conduct and attitude including appropriate clothing, personal grooming/hygiene and respect for one another. TKA also strives to maintain a participatory learning environment within the classrooms.

The extracurricular opportunities at TKA are special. Our athletic teams strive for excellence in the context of honoring God; our music/drama/fine arts programs speak to the heartfelt passion of a large percentage of the students; our service trips have become legendary in their impact on communities across the globe.

Please check out TKA for yourself by dropping by, coming to a school-sponsored event, coming to one of our Open House events or by having your child shadow for a day. I know you will be impressed. You just might sense God’s calling to become part of this family.

Sincerely,

Bob Kellogg
Principal

Bob Kellogg, Principal

Bob Kellogg is the third principal of The King's Academy.  He  received a BA in History and an MA in Education from Stanford University.  Although he seriously considered going into seminary right out of college, Bob was called to serve youth as a Young Life volunteer leader at Gunn and Menlo-Atherton High Schools and as a high school teacher, coach, and Young Life leader at Milpitas High School for 35 years.  In his free time, he loves to travel with his wife, Deni, exercise, build with his contractor son, Jordan, and spend time with his grandson, Chase. Chase's mom is a middle school Spanish teacher.  His daughter, Whitney, is a pediatrician in Portland, Oregon, and her husband, Scott, is a physical therapist.
