League Profile
The King's Academy competes in the West Bay Athletic League (WBAL) for high school and junior high boys and girls sports. The WBAL provides a large number of sports and challenges student athletes at TKA to compete at their best in every sport. TKA football competes in the Peninsula Athletic League (PAL) of the Central Coast Section (CCS).
The King's Academy is also a member of the California Interscholastic Federation and the Central Coast Section. Based upon its student population in grades 9-12, TKA competes in Division III or IV for CCS, NorCal, and CIF State playoffs.
CCS Scholastic Championship Team Award
The Scholastic Championship Team Award is awarded to the league team with the highest combined GPA. Many of our teams have earned this award in the past: Varsity Football Team (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008); Varsity Girls Tennis Team (2004, 2008); Varsity/JV Wrestling (2005); Varsity Boys Soccer (2002); Varsity Boys Baseball (2004, 2005)
