Parent Involvement
Parent participation is a crucial element in why TKA has a reputation as a family-friendly, wholesome environment. Active, passionate parents join us on our service trips and class field trips to destinations in the U.S. and abroad, or they support these trips back home by helping with fundraising or logistical planning. Parents also help out at school-wide events such as the Back to School BBQ, Carnival, Open Houses and Graduation. Additionally, parents often bring siblings and extended family to help with events or service opportunities on campus.
And, of course, we always depend on parent prayers for the safety of our students and in support of our goal to bring each student into a closer relationship with Christ. The relationships among parents create a caring community, as parents help each other with the parenting process and weave a web of support for our students

Family Fee Reimbursement
Parents who volunteer 16 hours per student per year receive a $100 reimbursement for each student. This can be multiplied for every student in the family. Download the Family Fee Reimbursment Form and turn in to the Business Office by June 15.
Moms In Prayer International
We are privileged to meet 8:15-9:00 each week on Thursdays in the TKA Boardroom to release God's power on our children and school through prayer. We believe that prayer makes all the difference for our students, staff and the direction and protection of our school. Lamentations 2:19 exhorts us to "Pour out your hearts like water before the face of the Lord, lift up your hands toward Him for the lives of your children". Moms, join us to pray for our students, staff and school and receive support and encouragement from other mothers who will share your burdens. Supporters of TKA can go directly to the Online Mall and earn for the school. You do not have to enroll in eScrip. Just click on the Online Mall logo and shop, while supporting The King's Academy.
Target Card Fundraiser
If you shop at Target a, please consider using your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. . The King’s Academy will receive a percentage of each purchase amount in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. Or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. Grandparents, alumni, neighbors and friends can take part, too. The King's Academy School ID is 111725. Access The King’s Academy Store and order online. The logo fee is an additional $5.95 charge. Land’s End often runs sales with free logo application and free shipping so sign up for their email alerts.
