Using Library Computers

Library resources include 42 computer workstations (PCs) with filtered Internet access:

  • The main library has table seating for 56 students, nine student computer workstations, one teacher computer workstation, a multimedia projector and screen, a printer, and a scanner
  • The library lab has 31 student computer workstations, one teacher computer workstation, a multimedia projector and screen, and a printer
  • The main library and library lab are available to students before and after school and throughout the school day, and to faculty for class reservations on a period-by-period basis
  • Students in the library with a reserved class have priority use of the computers

Library computers are to be used for school work only (all library hours):

  • Surfing the Web, personal e-mail, social networking websites, games, etc. are not allowed

Logging on to library computers:

  • Students:  Log on to the Students Domain using your school username and password
  • Teachers:  Log on to the Teachers Domain using your school username and password

Saving work to Google Drive, and/or to a USB drive for backup or transport purposes:

  • It is recommended that all work be saved to Google Drive, which is accessible from school and home
  • To save a document to a USB drive, click File -> Save As -> Save In: drop down menu and click on “Removable Disk” (either E or F) -> Save -> Click on “Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device” icon in lower right-hand corner of screen and wait until “Safe to Remove” message (streaming data loss prevention), remove USB drive
  • Please put your NAME on your USB (flash) drive
