Have Your Student Shadow and "Be a Knight" for a Day
To experience life at The King's Academy firsthand, prospective students are invited to "Be a Knight" and shadow a current student on Tuesdays and Fridays, 8:35 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Parents are invited to stay for a short introduction to TKA's Shadow Day from 8:40-8:55 a.m. Shadow days may be scheduled online above. Arrangements must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Your student will be assigned to a Student Host who has been specifically selected and trained for this important role
Visiting students will shadow in the grade for which they are applying. The assigned host will be the same gender as your student.
Are Shadow Days Important? Absolutely!
Changing schools may be a scary thought for your student. Most students would rather stay in familiar surroundings with students and teachers they already know. Our "Knight for a Day" Shadow Program allows your student to spend a day getting familiar with TKA's campus, faculty, and students. Take the mystery out of a new school by signing your student up for a visit!
"We are even more confident about the decision of choosing TKA after our daughter's campus visit. She keeps on talking about how she enjoyed the shadow day, especially the fun, friendly interaction with other students and the impressive energy level from teachers throughout the classes. We are very pleased that our daughter was warmly greeted by the students and teachers which makes her self-motivated to be part of the fun-loving, learning community."

"The teachers and staff made a lot of effort to actually engage and talk to me, which was different from my other shadow days."
