Tuition Assistance

The King's Academy supports a need-based tuition assistance program. The amount of assistance is based on the family’s financial situation and the availability of tuition assistance funds.

The admission and tuition assistance processes are separate and distinct. TKA does not use financial need as a consideration in determining a student’s eligibility for admission. The Tuition Assistance application must be completed within 7 days of submitting your TKA admissions application. Acceptance to the school does not guarantee the Tuition Assistance Committee’s ability to meet the financial need of the applicant. Families receiving tuition assistance are required to make some financial contribution toward tuition.

In 2024-2025, 209 students received $2,100,000 in tuition assistance (as of 12/04/24).

The tuition assistance program is funded by donations to the Knights Annual Fund.

Diversity Scholarship Fund

Believing that God has created all people in His image, The King’s Academy values and cultivates racial, cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity on campus.

As part of the ongoing Strategic Plan goal to ensure a broad social and economic mix of students in TKA's school community, TKA created a Diversity Scholarship Fund. For the 2024-2025 school year, $300,000 has been awarded from this scholarship fund. The application is linked below.

New Student Fees

Continuous Enrollment (CE)

In 2023, TKA adopted Continuous Enrollment (CE) since nearly 95% of TKA families choose to remain at The King’s Academy through 12th grade. Continuous Enrollment is a simple, seamless process for families to keep their students enrolled at TKA. Furthermore, Continuous Enrollment offers guaranteed placement until graduation. For current families, to re-enroll, there is nothing for you to do! As a benefit of continuous enrollment, your child’s seat for the 2025-2026 school year is already secured.

FACTS Tuition Management

TKA uses FACTS Tuition online payment system which allows parents to manage tuition and other fee balances online 24/7. FACTS Management Company is used by over 7,000 schools nationally. Read more about the company here and FACTS account Quick Tips.

All families must sign up for a FACTS account. We also highly encourage all families to choose autopay for both tuition and incidental fees.

Tuition Assistance Application

Tuition assistance is awarded based on a family's demonstrated financial need, and funds are limited. Applications received after the deadlines indicated below will be processed dependent upon fund availability. The process for applying for tuition assistance is as follows:

New Student Applicants

The Tuition Assistance application for the 2025-2026 school year is now available and must be completed within 7 days of submitting your TKA admission application.
Newly accepted students will be notified of their financial aid award in conjunction with the admissions acceptance process.

FACTS TUITION ASSISTANCE ONLINE APPLICATION

Returning Student Applicants

Tuition assistance for returning families will be processed as received, so it is advantageous to apply as soon as possible.
You will be able to submit last year's tax returns.
The deadline for returning student Tuition Assistance Applications for the 2025-2026 school year is January 31, 2025.
Please remember that a tuition assistance application must be submitted each year.

Diversity Scholarship Fund Application

Diversity Scholarship Qualifications

The King’s Academy Diversity Scholarship Fund was created as part of the ongoing Strategic Plan goal to “ensure a broad social and economic mix of students within our school community.” Please note that students must be the ones to submit this application.

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be accepted to The King’s Academy for the 2025-2026 school year in Grades 9-12.
Have established a financial need as outlined by the TKA Tuition Assistance program.
Have applied for and received an award from the TKA Tuition Assistance Program.
Be a member of an underrepresented minority population (URM). An underrepresented Minority (URM) is defined as a U.S. citizen who is a member of an underrepresented racial and ethnic group such as blacks or African Americans, Hispanics or Latinos, American Indians or Alaskan Natives, and Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders.

Award Amount

Scholarship recipients receive an award of up to 30% of their annual tuition from the Diversity Scholarship Fund. This award is in addition to the award granted by the TKA Financial Aid Program, up to a maximum award total of 80%. The TKA Diversity Scholarship must be applied for each year.

The Diversity Scholarship application may be completed as soon as you've submitted your TKA admission application. The deadline for Diversity Scholarship Applications for the 2025-2026 school year is no later than 7 days following your acceptance offer.
