Department Philosophy
The Visual & Performing Arts Department (VPA) seeks to glorify God as we foster an environment where students can discover and develop their God-given talents to the fullest.
We share these talents not for our own glory but as a spiritual act of worship of our Creator. (Romans 12:1; Colossians 3:17; 1 Cor. 10:31).
Program Mission
As a Silicon Valley college prep school with a theatre program, The King’s Academy is dedicated to presenting diverse performance opportunities, building an artistic community, preparing students for post-secondary endeavors, and developing the next generation of theatre artists and audiences. We create in community, develop critical thinking skills, share the human experience, take initiative in leadership, train for excellence in artistry, and glorify God.
