Luke 10:2 "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
The Sherman Family have been a huge blessing to TKA, coaching multiple boys' and girls' junior high basketball teams.
"Coaching basketball brings us great joy, knowing we have an opportunity to let the Lord use us to impact lives as we encourage hustle, hard work, teamwork, and confidence, which all builds character! It's rewarding to see the growth in players, team unity, and we love praying together. We are truly blessed to be a part of the TKA family and give all the Glory and Honor to God!
Coach Zayda Sherman
Boys and Girls Head Tennis Coach, Tom Umhofer, and Assistant Coach, Eric Choski, have coached tennis at TKA for the past seven years. Tom has been a tremendous blessing to our tennis program and community. His love, care, and encouraging style make him beloved by his student-athletes! We are very fortunate to have both Tom and Eric lead our program."Being at The King's Academy has allowed me to do one of the things I enjoy most, coaching tennis. The fact that the priority is faith and love in Jesus Christ makes it so much more special for me. The culture at TKA where teammates encourage and support each other is so inspiring in today's world. I am looking forward in the future to helping in some small way to help these kids grow as Christians and tennis players."
