12th Grade Senior Escape Fall Retreat
Dear 12th Grade Student Families,
As you know, our fall retreats are an integral part of students' overall development at The King's Academy. Our retreats are intentionally designed so that students grow personally and spiritually, bond together as a class, and build relationships with staff. We strongly encourage seniors to make the most of their final year. Through worship, play, community, and challenge, the Senior Escape is designed to start the year off in the right direction so that you may finish your high school career with excellence! Located in the Santa Cruz Mountains, a one-hour drive from TKA, Koinonia Christian Conference Center is truly a retreat location. Activities include basketball courts, open fields for team sports, swimming, and more. For more information about Koinonia, check out www.koinoniaconferencegrounds.org.
Seniors will also have the opportunity to lead, encourage, and serve their fellow students through Home Groups and/or serving at one of the Fall Retreats. Seniors interested in serving must attend a special meeting on the first Thursday of school (August 18) when application forms for these different service opportunities will be available.
