SPIRITUAL LIFE & SERVICE "Love the Lord your God" Spiritual Life Theme 2021-2022 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength" This Week's Chapel focused on the topic of mental and emotional health, especially ongoing stress and anxiety due to the pandemic. Two professional Christian counselors, Jeremy Gilrein and Minagrace Drake, offered students comfort and encouragement regarding their own self-care. They responded to questions submitted directly by students, and spoke of practical ways to care compassionately for ourselves -- body, mind, and soul. Most importantly, we were reminded to invite the Lord into our lives, and to look to Him for strength and comfort.
Chapel Discussion Questions: 1. What stood out to you today from the presentation? 2. Is there anything that you are still wondering about after the presentation? 3. What one practical piece of advice did you gain today? 4. Is there anything that you have personally struggled with during the pandemic? 5. Is there anything that we can pray specifically for you?
