We are very excited that this Thursday and Friday we will hold our fall retreats! We have some great activities planned and and a powerful speaker lined up, along with worship with Kokua.
ON THURSDAY, we will be on campus and follow the regular school schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Parents, please drop off your students at the regular time at TKA. We have numerous games and recreations in place, and Bill Paige, a nationally known Young Life speaker will share with the students. The worship band Kokua will lead us in song. Lunch will be provided, and snacks will be available throughout the day. Students should bring a sweatshirt, closed-toed shoes, and a water bottle. Please remember that TKA Retreat Dress Code should be observed.
ON FRIDAY, parents will drop students off at Great America's Pavilion for music, games, photos, and a free buffet lunch from 1:00-4:00 p.m. The park and all the rides open at 4:00 p.m., and students will have full run of the park until closing time. Students will also receive a meal voucher to use for dinner inside Great America. The students will check in regularly with their Home Group leader via the Remind messaging app. Students should bring a sweatshirt, any necessary medications, and any spending money that they might want at Great Ameriac.
