The National Merit® Scholarship Program honors individual students who show exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies. The King's Academy is proud to recognize these outstanding scholars in the Class of 2022.
National Merit Finalist from the Class of 2022
National Merit Semifinalists represent less than 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors and include the highest-scoring entrants in each state who took the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) during their junior year. To qualify as a Finalist, a student must have an outstanding academic record throughout high school, be recommended by the high school principal, and earn SAT scores that confirm the student's earlier performance on the PSAT in the fall of the junior year. Students scoring in the top 1% are also evaluated on a detailed application, essay, and information about their participation and leadership in school and community activities. Congratulations to:
