This Week in Junior High Chapel: We had a blast today in Junior High chapel. We were able to meet in the theatre as high school students were having their service trip meetings around campus. We started off with a fun "potato game" and a new version of "Who Do You Say That I Am?," where students had to guess the children of several TKA junior high teachers. Our speaker was William Yih, a 2014 TKA alumnus, who currently serves as a youth pastor at a church near LA. He spoke to our students about how Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and encouraged us all to follow Jesus the way Matthew the tax collector left everything behind and followed the Lord. We also got the 6th and 7th graders excited for their service week activities and special lunch menu during the week they remain on campus, while all the other grades are gone. This Week in High School Chapel: Students met in their service groups to start bonding and learning the details of their service. We have 11 service trips! See details of the trips on TKA Service 2022- 2023 webpage. Trips are to: Anchorage; Dinuba, CA; Kentucky; Lotus, CA; Navajo Nation, AZ; Seattle; Sunnyvale; Tulsa, OK; Los Angeles; San Francisco; Tecate, Mexico. |
