This Week in Junior High Chapel: We had an incredible last chapel of the year in junior high! Rylie Farlow (Grade 7) gave a powerful testimony of Jesus as Immanuel, God with us. We showed this video (2:31) of Jeanne Meadows Elementary School receiving the art kits (2:41) our sixth and seventh graders contributed and put together during service week. We heard two beautiful songs from our Junior High Choir and Knightshine about who Jesus is, both tying into our theme of the year: "Who do you say that I am?" Mr. Brian Robinson, TKA Math Teacher, had the students spellbound sharing the story of his near death experience and God's family coming around to support and encourage him. Jesus, our Alpha and Omega, revealed His presence with him in a memorable way in the hospital. Our faithful Junior High Leadership Homegroup continued to serve as they welcomed their classmates as they arrived, gave announcements, prayed, advanced slides, reflected upon the message, and dismissed everyone. Praise God for such a great way to end our last junior high chapel of the year together!!! Discussion Questions: - Have people in God's family ever shown up for you? How?
- How have you or your family shown up for others?
- How does it make you feel that Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega? In other words, that he has always been there and will be there for you in the end?
