Continuous Enrollment FAQs

The Tuition Deposit assists TKA in effectively planning for staffing and curriculum by securing student placement for the upcoming year. Each year, this deposit will be billed, via FACTS, on March 1st  and will be due on March 15th of that year. This deposit is applied to your cost of tuition.

Your student(s) will not be considered enrolled in the upcoming school year’s class. However, once the CEC is signed and the Tuition Deposit is paid, your student(s) will be considered for re-enrollment on a space-available basis.

The Tuition Deposit is non-refundable. The tuition deposit amount will be published in January of each year. This Is a multi-year, continuous enrollment contract. Tuition and fees schedules for subsequent years will be published on TKA’s Tuition & Assitance webpage no later than January 31st of each year.

Any notice of termination must be provided from you (in the FACTS portal) no later than February 28th to avoid being billed for the subsequent school year’s non-refundable tuition deposit. 

The non-refundable tuition deposit will be billed March 1st and will be due in full on March 15th. A late fee of $25 will be applied after March 15th.

All accounts must be current in order to keep your Continuous Enrollment status active. Students will not be considered enrolled for the upcoming school year until accounts are current and the Tuition Deposit is paid.

2024-2025 tuition rates will be posted in mid-January. Rates for future years will be determined and published no later than January 31 prior to the upcoming academic year.

If your student is not returning next year, then you’ll notify TKA via the FACTS portal. Once we receive the notification then the Registrar’s Office will reach out with instructions for the end of the school year procedures. you will be instructed regarding next steps for withdrawal. Your student billing account must be reconciled before the withdrawal is final.

Once CE is fully implemented, the typical re-enrollment season will simply be a series of reminders from TKA  informing families that the Tuition Deposit for the upcoming school year will be automatically billed to your FACTS account unless TKA is notified in writing on or before February 28th that your student(s) do not intend to return for the next school year.

The cost of a quality private school education is substantial. At The King’s Academy, we recognize that sometimes in life circumstances arise that might require a student to withdraw during the school year. The purpose of the Tuition Protection Plan (TPP) is to allow a partial refund/waiver of tuition owed under the annual tuition contract in the event of a student’s withdrawal or dismissal. This plan provides a means to recover a percentage of the fees paid/or waiver of a percentage of fees owed for tuition if a student withdraws before the end of the academic year.

Tuition Protection is included in the cost of tuition. Aside from the tuition deposit, which is non-refundable, a portion of the tuition will be refunded or waived (based on the chart below) in the event that a student is unenrolled at the school . The amount of tuition due is calculated on a quarterly basis per the chart below. The date of withdrawal will determine the amount refunded/waived.
