Dear TKA Families,
THANK YOU for helping us reach and exceed our goal! Because of generous donors like you, The King's Academy raised more than $206,000 during our #TKAPinkHair Challenge on #GivingTKADay. This would not have been possible without your support.
Today, Mr. Meadows, Mr. Williamson, and Mr. Ferrante had their hair dyed PINK. I really appreciated their willingness to jump in on this whimsy. For in the words of Bob Goff (a video sent out to you last Tuesday), "Nobody will dye their hair pink otherwise."
Please enjoy this Gratitude video.

What is TKA Doing on #GivingTKADay?
The King’s Academy is inviting you to make a difference by giving to the Knights Annual Fund. Your gift directly impacts every aspect of the school and helps create excellence in everything that we do. It will allow us to provide financial aid to all interested and qualified students, regardless of socio-economic status, and much needed infrastructure improvements.
Mr. Meadows (Head of School), Mr. Williamson (High School Principal) and Mr. Ferrante (Junior High Principal) have accepted a challenge - to dye their hair pink for a day if TKA hits the target of raising $100,000 on December 1, 2020, GivingTKADay (A Global Generosity Movement).
Your support is vital to TKA’s mission and excellence.
Please join us on December 1, 2020 for #GivingTKADay and help us reach our goal of raising $100,000 to support our school!

What is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is a global movement of generosity that began in 2012. Observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday was created to follow the widely recognized shopping events of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Thanksgiving is a day for giving thanks. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are days for getting deals. Now, there is #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back! On Tuesday, December 1, the world will come together to celebrate and encourage charitable activities
