Visual and Performing Arts (VPA)
The King’s Academy Visual and Performing Arts department is dedicated to presenting diverse performance opportunities, establishing an artistic community, preparing students for post-secondary endeavors, and developing the next generation of artists and audiences. We create cooperatively, initiate leadership, develop critical thinking skills, share the human experience, and teach artistry excellence.
Most importantly, the VPA department seeks to glorify God by fostering an environment where students can discover and develop their God-given talents to the fullest. Our desire is for students to use these talents not for their own glory but as a spiritual act of worship of our Creator.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Colossians 3:17)

Learning to express oneself through dance can be a freeing artistic expression and a lot of fun! At TKA, students have the opportunity to just try dance or to take it further through technical training, designing original choreography, directing dances and producing performances. Students develop skills in coordination, agility, flexibility, proper alignment, creative expression and confidence.Read More >
